When we developed LARS (Lunar Astronaut Revival System), we weren’t sure what kind of material we want to use. We had high requirements regarding to the robustness of the most important components because of the high forces that are required for the CPR procedure. Luckily we came in touch with 3D-Druck & Design Rostock who were able to print the components out of a highly robust carbon nylon filament. We are excited to present you the final system which we used for our first test phase at the Asclepios analog moon mission at San Gottardo (Switzerland).
