These are the
Faces of BEARS e.V.
BEARS brings together students in rocketry, robotics, and space science. Smaller teams support events, outreach, and operations. Our elected board guides the club, and alumni remain part of the BEARS network.

When and where to find us!
We mainly operate at the Charlottenburger Campus of Technical University Berlin within lecture, workshop rooms and laboratories provided by the TU Berlin University. Our general meetings currently happen in the F building in Room F11 (left entrance), which are the best opportunity for you and other interested peers to connect with BEARS members in person. Just join our next meeting on Tuesday at 6pm! (See map below)

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQEverything you need to know about joining and participating in BEARS e.V.
Just show up to our weekly general meetings for introduction purposes and to determine, which project would suit you best! We have a membership regulation that requires participation in our next meetings. Furthermore, you can become an active club member through a trial semester. We welcome all students and space enthusiasts of Berlin/Potsdam Universities, regardless of their field of study, or experience level! To enter BEARS, we recommend joining one of our plenty project groups, but if you bring your own project, we are curious to evaluate, if it fits to our mission goals and values and might receive fundings. We most probably can arrange an introductory presentation slot for you to let active BEARS members make an educated vote. But our focus lays on existing projects that already have a stable foundation and designated plan. See the "When/where to find us" section above for our meeting time and location.
Not at all! BEARS is a place for students to apply their theoretical knowledge gained in their studies to a real world project. Every student is welcome to join us - no matter the experience level.
Your work at BEARS will be two-fold: participation in one of our hardware projects as well as club-work, which could be involvement in events, trade-fairs, recruitment campaigns or social media activity. Time-commitment for projects is specific to the given project. For general club activity, we expect you to join our weekly meetings regularly (<1 h) and commit a few additional hours on a regular basis whenever there is work.
No!
Absolutely! Many of our members contribute to more than one project. It is a great way to broaden your skills and meet different team members. We also encourage a close interconnection of our individual project teams.
See our "Sponsors" page, or contact us directly to learn about our partnership opportunities!
